Additional Information

Children ages 5 and up are welcome to begin piano. Exceptions are made for younger children who show an early ability to read, write and have a good sense of musical ability.

Lessons will include musical theory and technique. Study is geared around preparing the students for classical music. Students are also welcome to bring something "extra" that they would like to work on for their own enjoyment, school, or church. Lessons are individually tailored to each student's ability.

Students are encouraged to practice their assigned material each week and come to their lesson prepared. Parents of young children especially are encouraged to spend time helping their child practice correctly at home.
